MottoWrap
Description
MottoWrap is specifically engineered to uphold the fire resistance of fire-separating walls and floors in instances where they are penetrated by plastic pipes, conduits, or metal pipes with continuous combustible insulation.
It is suitable for use in various construction types, including drywalls, masonry, or concrete walls and floors.

Each pipe wrap comprises a reactive intumescent strip based on graphite, which responds to heat by expanding and sealing the opening created by the softened plastic pipe or pipe insulation during a fire.
The pipe wrap is wrapped entirely around the pipes or insulation and fastened in place using the self-adhesive tab. To complete the installation, the annular space surrounding the pipe wrap is sealed with MottoCompound or MottoBatt.
