MottoMastic
Description
MottoMastic is engineered to effectively halt the propagation of fire, smoke, and gases through apertures in fire-rated walls and floors, particularly focusing on linear joints and openings for building service penetrations.
This 4-hour rated intumescent sealant is specially formulated with fillers that contribute to noise reduction.

MottoMastic should be applied over appropriate backing materials to ensure the correct width-to-depth ratio and minimize joint shrinkage during hardening.
Upon exposure to atmospheric conditions, MottoMastic undergoes curing, retaining a slight degree of elasticity to accommodate joint movement. In the event of a fire, MottoMastic forms a sturdy fire seal through the creation of a durable intumescent char.
This sealant has undergone testing according to BS EN 1366-3 standards, with additional guidance from BS EN 1366-4 for fire protection joints. It has also been tested in accordance with BS EN ISO 140-3:1995 for acoustic performance.
