MottoCoat-2 is a spray-grade ablative sealant coating intended to fortify, seal, and fire protect mineral fibers. It is composed of a robust polymer system containing inert fillers, non-halogenated fire retardants, and a preservative to combat microbial deterioration.

MottoCoat-1 is a coating designed to safeguard the outer plastic or rubber sheath of cables, ensuring the continuous supply of electricity during a fire. MottoCoat-2 is specifically formulated for direct spraying onto mineral fibers. Upon drying, it forms a resilient, flexible white surface. This coating enhances the stability of mineral fibers during installation, minimizing delamination and improving surface stability for subsequent adhesive and fixing sealant applications. Its ablative properties inhibit flame spread and protect mineral fibers from fire penetration by significantly reducing their permeability. This prevents the passage of hot gases, thereby limiting temperature rise on the unexposed side.
